\nRecruit UK are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join a well-established Financial Planning firm.
\nThe purpose of this role is to provide high-quality administrative support to Financial Advisers and clients, ensuring an efficient, compliant and professional service is delivered at all times. You will also play an important role in supporting and mentoring less experienced team members, maintaining excellent client service standards and ensuring all business is processed accurately and within regulatory requirements.
\nThis position requires excellent organisational skills, strong technical knowledge of financial services products, and previous experience within an Independent Financial Advice environment.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers and clients \n
- Process new business across investments, pensions and protection cases \n
- Prepare client documentation including application packs, client agreements and supporting paperwork \n
- Obtain provider information through Letters of Authority (LOAs) and collate documentation for advisers and paraplanners \n
- Complete online and paper-based business processing, including fund switches, withdrawals, income payments and other client transactions \n
- Carry out post-implementation processing for investment and pension business \n
- Maintain accurate client records using back-office systems \n
- Liaise with product providers and clients to obtain information and resolve queries \n
- Support and mentor junior administrators, providing guidance and training where required \n
- Assist with team training and share technical knowledge across the business \n
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, compliantly and within agreed service standards \n
- Manage incoming correspondence, update client records and support wider office administration \n
- Handle client and adviser enquiries professionally via telephone and email \n
- Assist with ad hoc projects and departmental initiatives as required \n

Skills and Experience Required:
\n- \n
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as an IFA Administrator or Financial Services Administrator within an Independent Financial Advice practice \n
- Strong understanding of investment, pension and protection products \n
- Experience processing complex financial services business \n
- Working knowledge of Pension Drawdown, Trusts and inheritance tax planning products would be advantageous \n
- Experience using Intelligent Office (iO) or similar back-office systems \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook \n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload \n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, advisers and clients \n
- Ability to support, coach and develop less experienced team members \n
- High attention to detail with a strong understanding of compliance and FCA regulatory requirements \n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
