Our organization, a physician-led multispecialty group with over 120 providers, is on the lookout for an OBGYN Residency Program Director to join our team in Fresno, California. Key Responsibilities- Oversee, coordinate, and manage the integrated OB-GYN Residency Program at our affiliated medical center, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards.
- Stay updated on the latest clinical advancements and practices in the field of OBGYN.
- Engage actively in professional activities that enhance resident training, both in clinical settings and educational environments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to OBGYN residents during didactic and clinical educational sessions.
- This role is structured as a full-time position, with 0.5 FTE dedicated to program directorship and 0.5 FTE in clinical practice.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in graduate medical education within an ACGME-accredited teaching hospital and OBGYN program.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Program Director within the last five years, or at least three years as an Associate Program Director during the same timeframe.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with resident physicians, teaching faculty, hospital administration, and other staff.
- A genuine passion for leadership development and mentoring residents.
- Possession of a full and unrestricted medical license from the California State Medical Board, along with current OBGYN Board Certification.
