Job Opportunity: Electrophysiologist Cardiologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Electrophysiologist Cardiologist to become part of our esteemed team at Albany Associates in Cardiology (AAC), situated in Albany, New York. We seek a dedicated and proficient physician to enhance our expanding practice, which encompasses both inpatient and outpatient duties. This role offers an excellent mix of hospital and clinic responsibilities, along with opportunities for professional advancement and attractive compensation.

Key Highlights:

• Work Schedule: 50% office and 50% hospital; typically, no split days (either hospital or clinic, not both on the same day).
• Procedure Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology is essential, including expertise in ablation and AFib management. Familiarity with Watchman procedures is advantageous.
• Practice Setting: Collaborate with a vibrant team of three EP Cardiologists.
• Call Schedule: General cardiology call with the AAC practice, occurring once a month during evenings and weekends; no specific EP call required.
• Office Coverage: Responsibilities will include Troy, Clifton Park, and Albany, with potential to expand the practice into other areas.
• Flexible Scheduling: Options available to either split hospital and clinic days or dedicate full days to one setting.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 2 years in electrophysiology, including ablation and AFib procedures. Training in Watchman is a plus, and experience in lead/device extraction is preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality, collaborative care.

Recruitment Package:

• Competitive Base Salary: Starting salary of $k, with potential earnings through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses.
• Starting Bonus: $50,000.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $25,000.
