Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Legal Recruiting Assistant to support our Attorney Recruiting team in our Palo Alto office. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is interested in legal recruiting, human resources, or law firm operations and is eager to gain experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Description Coordinate attorney and law student interview schedules across multiple offices and time zones. Communicate with candidates, attorneys, law schools, and search firms in a professional and timely manner. Prepare interview materials, candidate packets, evaluation forms, and recruiting reports. Assist with on-campus recruiting (OCI), summer associate programs, networking events, and recruiting receptions. Maintain accurate candidate records within the firm's applicant tracking system and recruiting databases. Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and expense processing for candidates. Track recruiting metrics and prepare reports for the recruiting team. Assist with offer preparation, onboarding coordination, and orientation activities for new hires. Ensure all recruiting files and candidate information remain accurate and confidential. Provide administrative support for recruiting projects and special initiatives as assigned. Profile Bachelor's degree required. 1-2 years of professional experience in recruiting, human resources, legal administration, or a professional services environment. Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, client-service mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus. Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information. Prior full time work in administrative roles in a law firm, legal services, recruiting, or human resources. Familiarity with law school recruiting or attorney recruiting processes.
