Our organization is currently in search of a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Kansas City, Kansas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures with a focus on teamwork.
  • Handle primarily neuro cases and light body cases, such as drains, lines, and GT tubes.
  • Manage four rooms, averaging 7-8 light neuro cases and 2 IR cases daily.
Experience Requirements
  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience, including scrub experience.
  • Preferred: 3 years of IR experience, particularly in large hospital settings, with peripheral and neurovascular expertise.
Licensing and Certification
  • ARRT Radiography certification is mandatory.
  • Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license can be applied for once an offer is made; candidates may start with a pending KS license.
Additional Requirements
  • May be required to float to Bell IR.
  • On-call duties from 5 PM to 9 PM may be necessary, potentially once a week based on rotation and demand.
  • Holidays are not mandatory; however, if a holiday coincides with a scheduled workday, the following pay period will reflect a reduction in holiday pay hours.
  • New graduates are not accepted for this position.
Orientation and Equipment
  • Orientation sessions are held every Monday and Tuesday.
  • All credentials must be submitted one week prior to the start date on Monday.
  • Equipment includes Siemens Systems: Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee (single-plane, no biplane functionality).

  • Emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

  • Bi-weekly pay with an 8-hour non-billable orientation.
  • Two cancellations per month are permitted with a minimum of 2 hours' notice.
Compensation and Benefits
