We are excited to announce a full-time Adult Psychiatrist position available in Waterbury, Connecticut, as part of our growing regional behavioral health team at a local hospital.
About the RoleBecome a vital member of a collaborative and energetic psychiatry team dedicated to providing adult psychiatric services within our 12-bed inpatient unit. Our team is fully equipped with:
- Occupational and group therapists
- Social workers for individual therapy and case management
- A specialized insurance utilization review team
You will also benefit from regular medical and surgical support for any non-psychiatric concerns, including routine history and physical examinations.
Schedule and CompensationThis full-time position features a Monday to Friday schedule, along with a weekend call rotation of 1:4. There are also opportunities to increase your earnings through additional weekend shifts.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will hold a valid Connecticut license and be board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry. While experience is preferred, we welcome recent graduates who are passionate about inpatient psychiatric care. We encourage Spanish-speaking applicants to apply.
