Job Opportunity: Trauma Surgeon

Our organization is in search of a full-time, fellowship-trained Trauma Surgeon to become a vital member of our dynamic team at a high-volume Level II Trauma Center. This role encompasses a wide range of emergency general services, trauma management, and acute surgical care in a fast-paced setting.

Position Highlights

• Join a collaborative team consisting of 4 Physicians and 12 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Work 15 shifts monthly, including a mix of day and night shifts.
• Participate in one clinic day each week.
• Share unrestricted night call for emergency general surgery.
• Engage in a full spectrum of trauma responsibilities, including operating room duties, patient rounding, clinic visits, and critical care.
• Utilize robotic technology in acute care surgical procedures.
• Co-manage a 16-bed Critical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) alongside Pulmonary and Critical Care specialists.
• Serve as adjunct faculty for General Surgery Residency programs.
• Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record system.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $504,797.
• Recruitment incentive of $150,000.
• Relocation assistance of up to $15,000.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of $6,000.
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
• Retirement plans available, including a 403B with matching contributions and a 457B plan.
• Benefits commence on the first day of employment.
