OB/GYN Hospitalist - Physician - Davenport, IA - 7 24-hour shifts per month

Join Our OB/GYN Hospitalist Team

We are currently looking for a skilled and board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to become a part of our OB/GYN Hospitalist service located in Davenport, IA.

What We Offer

• Full-time Employment: Enjoy a schedule of 7 in-house 24-hour shifts each month, with options for part-time and PRN roles available.
• Patient Care: Manage OB and GYN emergencies in the emergency room and during labor and delivery, care for unassigned patients, and handle transfers from smaller regional hospitals.
• Support Role: Provide backup call for the OB/GYN practice.
• Supervision: Oversee first and second-year family medicine residents, as well as one FM-OB fellow.
• Births: Participate in approximately 1,000+ births annually.
• NICU: Work in a Level II NICU with on-site neonatologists.

Recruitment Package

• Compensation: $4,709 for each 24-hour on-site shift.
• Commencement Bonus: A signing bonus of $150,000.
• Loan Forgiveness: Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 for moving expenses.
• CME Allowance: $6,000 for continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN.
• Capability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
• Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications relevant to the practice.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates are encouraged to apply).
