Job Description
Our organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group practice with over 650 providers. We are currently in search of a full-time Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our Kuna Clinic, situated in a rapidly growing suburb of Boise.
Our dedicated team is committed to delivering comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population, spanning from birth to end-of-life care. Please note that this role does not involve obstetric care or inpatient responsibilities. The work schedule is traditional, Monday through Friday, with up to 34 hours of patient contact per week and flexibility in the workweek. Call responsibilities are shared with other Family Medicine physicians at an approximate ratio of 1:35, and it is primarily phone-based, supported by a triage service.
We leverage EPIC EHR and DAX Copilot, an AI-driven clinical documentation tool, to streamline your daily operations and enhance patient care. You will have access to dedicated Medical Assistants, team nurses, population health support, referral resources, and more. Additionally, our practice location offers Urgent Care services, along with on-site digital x-ray and laboratory facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to patients of all ages.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced technology for efficient clinical documentation and patient management.
- Participate in shared call duties with Family Medicine colleagues.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board certification or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment.
- Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure to practice in all aspects of medicine.
- Valid registration for controlled substances with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
