Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a vital member of our Occupational Medicine team.

Working under the guidance of the Medical Director, the Occupational Health Provider will function as an autonomous healthcare professional, consultant, and care coordinator. This position focuses on enhancing employee health and safety through clinical services, compliance management, and injury oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Health & Safety:
  • Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Oversee the Workers' Compensation injury program.
  • Perform pre-employment health evaluations.
  • Conduct DOT examinations.
  • Promote wellness initiatives and vaccination programs.
  • Administer and oversee the bloodborne pathogen exposure and response plan.
  • Work with employers on safety measures and return-to-work strategies.
• Compliance & Coordination:
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with HR, safety teams, and external providers as necessary.
  • Maintain precise and confidential health records.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Ability to secure and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois and Iowa.
• Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications relevant to the provider's area of practice.

Our services include primary care, cardiology, nephrology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and pediatrics, along with lab and radiology services. The primary care team consists of 4 physicians, 5 advanced practice providers, and a skilled clinical and non-clinical staff. Expect a dynamic practice environment with a steady patient volume.
