NO NIGHT CALL

Location: Lakeland, Florida

We are looking for Generalist OB/GYN Physicians to become part of our expanding hospital-based women's health practice.

This position provides an opportunity to engage in obstetric and gynecologic care within a supportive, community-focused setting, backed by a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist team, which ensures no night call and promotes a healthy work-life balance.


About the Role

Our physicians operate within a stable employment framework characterized by strong administrative collaboration, collegial relationships, and the flexibility to influence their clinical practice.

As a Generalist OB/GYN, you will:

  • Deliver obstetric and gynecologic care to patients

  • Work in a collaborative team environment with immediate partner support

  • Foster a positive, patient-centered training atmosphere within the community

  • Engage in the supervision and clinical education of residents and medical students during inpatient, outpatient, Labor & Delivery, and surgical care

  • Shared daytime in-hospital call rotation (NO NIGHT CALL)

There is also the opportunity for physicians to customize their practice focus in Obstetrics and Gynecology.


Clinical Scope & Subspecialty Resources

All major women's health subspecialties are readily accessible, including:

  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine

  • Gynecologic Oncology

  • Urogynecology

  • Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (in partnership with regional specialists)

This integrated system facilitates seamless referrals and comprehensive, patient-focused care.

In-hospital care is provided at the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children, an eight-story, state-of-the-art facility designed for compassionate, family-centered care, featuring:

  • A full range of women’s and children’s services

  • A dedicated OB Emergency Department

  • A dedicated Children’s Emergency Department

  • A Level III NICU with 24/7 support from neonatologists and NICU teams

  • 24/7 OB-dedicated anesthesia services

  • Specialized Women’s OR suites with expert surgical teams

  • Da Vinci Xi robotic systems (robotics available but not mandatory)

  • Modern, elegant, patient-centered environments


Ideal Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for OB/GYNs who:

  • Are board certified or board eligible through ABMS or AOA and possess a current Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one

  • Prefer a primarily clinical OB/GYN practice

  • Enjoy mentoring residents and medical students as part of their daily clinical responsibilities with an OB/GYN Residency Program launching in Summer 2027

  • Value collaboration, stability, and a balanced work-life

  • Appreciate a community-oriented, team-based practice model
