About the Role

As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production and assembly of structural and mechanical aircraft components, systems, and equipment. Your work will directly impact product quality, safety, and performance while supporting some of the most advanced aerospace manufacturing operations in the industry.

This is a fully onsite position in Smithfield, PA, and candidates must be willing to work any shift as business needs require.

Employment Type: Full-Time Consultant (6 Months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Must Be Willing to Work Any Shift)
Pay Rate: Starting at $26.06 per hour


What You'll Do
  • Perform production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories
  • Follow engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, schematics, and work instructions to complete assembly tasks
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical systems using established production processes and industry standards
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot routine assembly issues and assist with implementing corrective actions when needed
  • Utilize manufacturing tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high workmanship standards
  • Follow safety procedures, material handling requirements, and manufacturing best practices
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer expectations
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development activities to enhance technical skills

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, or specifications
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment where compliance and quality standards are critical
  • Experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and production standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using specialized manufacturing tools such as:
    • Wire crimpers
    • Wire strippers
    • Wire routing tools
    • Multimeters
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, including:
    • Engineering drawings
    • Wiring diagrams
    • Schematics
    • Functional testing
    • Supplier documentation
  • Familiarity with:
    • Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention
    • Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements
    • Material handling procedures
    • Calibration requirements
    • Manufacturing safety practices
  • Vocational training or Associate degree in a related field

Pay Details: $26.06 per hour
