Join Our Anesthesia Team

We are looking for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to become part of our collaborative anesthesia team at our hospital. This position is based at our Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville.

This opportunity is stable and physician-led, providing excellent compensation, flexible call options, and the chance to customize your work-life balance within a Level III Trauma Center environment.

Opportunity Overview
  • Base Salary: $520,000
  • Cardiac Stipend: $80,000

Departmental Overview

Become a part of a well-established and supportive team that includes:

  • 16 full-time anesthesiologists
  • 2 part-time anesthesiologists
  • 2 full-time CRNAs
  • 2 anesthesia technicians

We handle a diverse array of cases, including:

  • Pediatrics
  • Low-volume obstetrics
  • Trauma

  • Thoracic and vascular procedures
  • Cath lab interventions

Call Structure Options

We offer two call structure options:

  • First Call (In-House) Track:
    • 7 weeks of night call (7 PM - 7 AM), 7 days on / 7 days off
    • 7 additional post-call weeks, significantly enhancing total time off
    • Guaranteed post-call day off
    • Ideal for those seeking maximum vacation time
  • Second Call (Backup) Track:
    • No in-house call requirement
    • Approximately every 9 days on second-call rotation
    • Lighter call burden

Qualifications
  • MD/DO board certified or board eligible
  • Completed residency training from an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology program
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Comfortable managing a wide variety of surgical cases
