Opportunity Details
  • Full-Time Equivalent: 1.0
  • Schedule: 2 clinic days and 2 OR days, alternating between 1 clinic and 1 OR day per site weekly

Requirements
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Eligible for a Michigan medical license
  • Completion of a Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
  • Experience in surgery, chemotherapy, and multidisciplinary cancer care
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Providing comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic cancers
  • Performing complex surgical procedures for both malignant and benign conditions
  • Collaborating with a team of specialists, including surgical oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists, to create comprehensive treatment plans
  • Managing chemotherapy treatments
  • Participating in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case planning
  • Teaching, mentoring, and supervising residents and fellows
  • Engaging in ongoing research, quality improvement, and educational initiatives
  • Carrying out other clinical duties as needed to support the clinic
