Job Description
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physiatrist to become part of our growing physical medicine and rehabilitation team at a leading rehabilitation hospital located in Hartford, Connecticut.
This position offers a unique chance to collaborate with a respected group of seven professionals in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. The role is primarily inpatient-focused, operating Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend duties on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your expertise in physical medicine and rehabilitation within a supportive team environment.
- Engage in advanced procedures including botulinum toxin and phenol injections, intrathecal baclofen pumps, trigger-point injections, EMGs, and MSK ultrasound.
- Participate in CARF-accredited programs for traumatic brain injury, stroke, and general rehabilitation.
- Interest or experience in inpatient physiatry is essential.
- Additional expertise in brain injury or spinal cord injury is advantageous.
Through our partnership with a local medical school, you will have the opportunity to engage in clinical education and research initiatives via the Rehabilitation Institute, should you wish to pursue these avenues.
