Join Our Team as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Our organization is a multi-specialty group practice with over 500 providers, and we are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to become part of a well-established practice in Boise, Idaho.

Position Overview

The chosen candidate will collaborate with two MFM physicians, a genetic counselor, and five sonographers in Boise, while also providing coverage for Nampa. The Labor and Delivery (L&D) rounds are multidisciplinary, involving MFM specialists, OB Hospitalists, L&D Unit Coordinators, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, and frequently, nursing and pharmacy students.

Work Schedule
  • Typical workweek: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 32 patient-facing hours each week
  • Consultative call schedule, including weekends, shared as 1:2 or 1:3 among the provider group
  • No in-house calls or deliveries required
Support and Facilities

Our practice is supported by a Level III+ NICU that offers 24-hour specialized care for premature and high-risk infants, whether delivered at SARMC or transferred to our NICU. We also provide care for critically ill full-term infants. Additional on-site services include Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and 24-hour coverage for Anesthesia, Radiology, and Emergency Medicine. The on-campus OB/GYN clinic features 20 providers, complemented by a community network of employed and allied primary and specialty care clinics. We utilize the View Point Perinatal Ultrasound Reporting System and EPIC EMR for our operations.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA OBGYN Residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship
  • Board Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment
  • Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SARMC-Boise and SAMC-Nampa
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
