This unit features 30 beds, where we cater to a diverse range of patients, including those requiring step-down, med-surg, and swing care. Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse will provide leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. This role involves utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for both patients and their families, as well as implementing medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications Needed:- Preferred Experience: At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Required Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program, with a commitment to obtain a BSN within five years of starting the RN position. Exemptions may be granted by the facility's Chief Nursing Officer.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply; verification with NCBON is recommended.
- Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.
