Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating saw machinery or similar equipment in a manufacturing or production environment. Basic understanding of measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including templates and work orders. Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols. Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to work with a variety of saws. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: Set up and operate various types of saws, including band saws and contour machine to cut materials such foam and latex according to job specifications. Read and interpret templates and work orders, and cutting instructions to determine the correct dimensions and angles for each cut. Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing blades or parts as needed to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and quality, making adjustments to the saw settings as necessary to meet production standards. Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment. Skills: The Saw Operator and Contour Specialist utilizes precise measurement and cutting skills daily to ensure materials are prepared accurately for production.
