Job Opportunity: Orthopedic Surgeon

Our organization is a physician-led multispecialty group with over 650 providers, currently looking for a full-time residency-trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This role is designed for a dynamic individual ready to engage in a thriving surgical practice that serves the region from Nampa to Baker City. The ideal candidate will adopt a proactive stance towards practice development, catering to the healthcare needs of Eastern Oregon.

This expanding practice offers a comprehensive array of general orthopedic services, ranging from total joint replacements to assisting athletes in their recovery and return to sports. Our primary focus remains on delivering exceptional patient care. Candidates must possess medical licensure in both Idaho and Oregon to meet the regional surgical demands across the communities we serve. The standard clinic schedule runs Monday through Friday, encompassing at least 32 patient contact hours weekly, in addition to procedures, rounding, and consultations.

  • 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia support
  • Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, and endoscopy
  • Hospital-based imaging services with a 24/7 radiology department
  • In-house coverage for general radiology and CT scans
  • After-hours call coverage for Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine
  • Access to MRI, Breast Care Center, and X-ray services
  • Emergency Department support
  • Affiliation with a network of Specialty and Primary Care clinics
  • Level 2 Trauma Hospital located in Boise, ID
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Completion of an ACGME or CanERA accredited orthopedic residency program
  • Board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS), or the ability to obtain certification within three years
  • Ability to secure medical licensure in Idaho and Oregon, along with privileges at SABCH and other affiliated hospitals as required
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
  • Willingness to participate in general orthopedic call
