Exciting Opportunity for a Neurology Physician

Our organization is thrilled to announce a full-time position for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurology physician to join an established practice in Athens, Georgia, with a targeted start date in 2027.

  • Join a High-Priority Neuroscience Service Line: Become part of a growing neuroscience program that is a strategic focus for our organization, with ongoing investments aimed at enhancing access, subspecialty services, and coordinated care throughout the healthcare continuum.
  • Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside three neurologists in a beautifully designed practice space, co-located with two other medical groups to foster collaboration and enhance patient convenience.
  • Two Neurologists Needed: We are looking to recruit two neurologists, ideally with at least one candidate possessing experience or training in epilepsy, to support the ongoing growth and development of our subspecialty services.
  • Comprehensive Neuroscience Network: Join a fully integrated neuroscience program that includes:
    • Outpatient neurology care
    • Board-certified neurosurgeons offering outpatient, non-emergent neurosurgical and spine care
    • A coordinated stroke and neuro continuum of care, featuring outpatient rehabilitation and support services
  • Robust Inpatient Support: Enjoy a sustainable practice model with dedicated neurohospitalists providing inpatient coverage, allowing you to focus on outpatient care and ensure continuity post-discharge.
  • Access to Endovascular Neurosurgical Procedures: Participate in inpatient stroke care with access to advanced procedures.
  • Broad Clinical Scope and Subspecialty Support: Engage in a diverse range of neurology practices, including:
    • General adult neurology
    • Neuromuscular and neurophysiology services, such as EMG/NCS and EEG
    • Post-acute and longitudinal neurological care
    • Multidisciplinary case collaboration across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Team-Based, Patient-Centered Care Model: Work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes care coordination across various sites and specialties, enhancing patient outcomes through a seamless experience from hospital to outpatient follow-up and rehabilitation.
