Our organization is currently in search of a Full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Occupational Therapist Requirements:- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy License in New York State
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply
- Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs
- Select activities that empower residents to perform daily tasks independently
- Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy through detailed reporting
- Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately
- Foster a collaborative environment among the healthcare team
