Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine Physician

Our organization is actively looking for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Internal Medicine Physician to become a part of our Academic Internal Medicine team at the Sherman Pavilion, situated in Muskegon, Michigan.

Practice Overview
  • Located in the outpatient department of Trinity Health Muskegon Lakeshore, conveniently near the hospital.
  • Our Academic Internal Medicine office caters to adult patients, focusing on diagnosing medical issues, managing chronic diseases, and providing comprehensive care for individuals with multiple health concerns.
  • The clinic hosts an Internal Medicine Residency program with 21 residents who rotate through our facility.
  • This position is for a 1.0 clinical FTE, with no mandatory precepting responsibilities.
  • Office hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a flexible schedule designed to accommodate the needs of our physicians.
  • Call responsibilities are shared among the physicians within the medical group.
  • Our medical center provides easy on-site access to various services, including Lab, Neurology, OMM, Geriatrics, Imaging, and Pharmacy.
  • We pride ourselves on a close-knit, collaborative office environment that fosters support and teamwork.

Qualifications
  • Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians.
  • Candidates must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with the expectation to achieve board certification within two years of eligibility.
  • A valid State of Michigan medical license is required upon employment.
  • DEA license is necessary.
  • BLS certification is required, with ongoing recertification.
