In this outpatient clinic role, you will assist patients in their recovery from injuries and help manage chronic conditions while enjoying the experience of living in a fresh location.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and physician recommendations.
• Focus on orthopedic cases, providing 60-minute evaluations and patient-centered functional treatment programs.
• Guide and delegate discipline-specific therapy services while educating patients, families, students, and colleagues.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of medical records, adhering to clinic, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain professional licensure and comply with the State Practice Act.
• Demonstrate safety awareness and engage in performance improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is required to begin the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Preferred experience in outpatient orthopedic practice.
• Experience with 60-minute evaluations and treatments is advantageous.
• Proficiency in documenting using electronic medical records and completing letters of medical necessity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising students and engaging in clinical education.
• Knowledge of performance improvement processes and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 5x8 staffing pattern.
• Flexible full-time hours, up to 40 hours per week, including 1–2 evenings until 7 PM.
• Orthopedic outpatient caseload with 60-minute initial evaluations.
