In this outpatient clinic role, you will assist patients in their recovery from injuries and help manage chronic conditions while enjoying the experience of living in a fresh location.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and physician recommendations.
- Focus on orthopedic cases, providing 60-minute evaluations and patient-centered functional treatment programs.
- Guide and delegate discipline-specific therapy services while educating patients, families, students, and colleagues.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of medical records, adhering to clinic, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain professional licensure and comply with the State Practice Act.
- Demonstrate safety awareness and engage in performance improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is required to begin the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
- Preferred experience in outpatient orthopedic practice.
- Experience with 60-minute evaluations and treatments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in documenting using electronic medical records and completing letters of medical necessity.
- Experience supervising students and engaging in clinical education.
- Knowledge of performance improvement processes and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols.
- Schedule: 5x8 staffing pattern.
- Flexible full-time hours, up to 40 hours per week, including 1–2 evenings until 7 PM.
- Orthopedic outpatient caseload with 60-minute initial evaluations.
