Our organization is currently on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN physician to become a part of our thriving practice at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Our dedicated OBGYN team consists of two physicians, three midwives, two advanced practitioners, and a committed support staff, all focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a busy practice with a 1:6 call schedule.
• Utilize outstanding clinic facilities, including a comprehensive Women's Integrated Health program.
• Provide onsite Breast Health Services, diagnostic testing, and pelvic floor physical therapy.
• Conduct ultrasounds in-clinic with the assistance of dedicated OBGYN sonographers.
• Utilize two procedure rooms available in the clinic.
• Access Mercy MFM for consultations and transports 24/7.

About Mercy Hospital Southeast

• Awarded as a Best Maternity Care Hospital by Newsweek.
• Delivers approximately 800 babies annually, featuring a Level III NICU.
• Neonatologist available for infants born at 28 weeks and above.
• OBGYN Hospitalist support for inpatient care and emergencies.
• The Dennis B. Elrod OBGYN Center includes 18 private birthing suites for a comfortable experience.
• Two operating rooms dedicated to labor and delivery.
• 24-hour in-house anesthesia services.
• Utilization of a system-wide Epic EMR.

Compensation and Benefits

• Two-year income guarantee of $450,000, with an additional $200,000 recruitment incentive.
• Up to $75,000 available for Student Loan Reimbursement.
• Relocation assistance of up to $20,000.
• Eligibility for Student Loan Forgiveness and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
• Four weeks of vacation plus six holidays during the guarantee period.
• Annual CME allowance of $5,000.
