Join Our Team as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to become part of our esteemed Oconee Heart & Vascular Center located in Athens, GA. This is a remarkable chance to integrate into a supportive and well-established cardiology practice.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Established Team: Collaborate with a group of 12 cardiologists, which includes 3 interventionalists, 2 electrophysiologists, 2 invasive cardiologists, and 5 non-invasive cardiologists.
  • Advanced Practice Provider Support: Work alongside 10 Advanced Practice Providers in a robust interdisciplinary care framework.
  • Day-to-Day Practice: Your responsibilities will include outpatient office visits, cardiac non-invasive testing, and inpatient consultative services.
  • Call & Coverage: Participate in shared General Cardiology Call, with admissions handled by a dedicated 24/7 hospitalist service.
  • State-of-the-Art Diagnostics & Procedures: Utilize advanced technologies such as Cardiac MRI, Coronary CTA, Echocardiography, Vascular Studies, Nuclear Stress Tests, and more.
  • No On-Site CT Surgery: Focus on non-invasive cardiology without the need for on-site surgical procedures.
  • Teaching Opportunities: Engage in training Internal Medicine Residents during your Cardiology Attending service.
Comprehensive Services We Provide
  • Outpatient Cardiac Health Management: Deliver personalized consultations, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Manage conditions such as arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, and coronary artery disease.
  • Oversee lipid and anticoagulation management.
  • Provide care for valvular heart disease and conduct presurgical evaluations.
  • Operate a full-service Pacemaker & ICD Clinic with remote monitoring capabilities.
Hospital-Based Cardiology Services
  • Perform cardiac catheterization, PCI, and emergency heart attack angioplasty.
  • Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and loop recorder implantation.
  • Execute A-fib ablations, electrical cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
  • Provide inpatient consultation and diagnostic testing.
