Job Description
Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Otolaryngologist to become a part of our ENT department. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty group dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare.
Opportunity Highlights- Join a collaborative team of five physicians.
- Participate in a call rotation of 1:6, with the potential for additional call compensation.
- Utilize the DaVinci Robot XI for surgical procedures.
- Balance your workweek between clinic and surgical days.
- Average of 25 surgical cases per month per provider, along with 30-35 clinic visits daily.
- Conduct surgeries at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital, and at the Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the same campus.
- Engage in weekly outreach at one of our seven critical access hospitals within a 14-county network.
- Serve a primary service area of approximately 260,000 residents.
- Work at a Level III Trauma Center equipped with helicopter services.
- Annual salary of $478,150 plus production incentives.
- Receive a $72,000 bonus package annually for the first two years.

This regional health system encompasses 14 counties and includes MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, seven critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics across northern Iowa. Our teaching hospital offers residency programs in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, as well as fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

QualificationsA graduate from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school is required. Candidates should demonstrate competency through completion of a relevant residency program and must be board certified or eligible. Applicants must be able to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, as well as an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
