Gynecology Physician - Uterine Health and Menopause Specialist
Job Description
Our organization is looking for a Board Certified or Eligible OB/GYN who specializes in menopause, midlife women's health, and uterine care, including operative hysteroscopy. This position is available within our established Women's Services team located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The selected physician will collaborate with specialists in Gynecology, Urogynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology, as well as other women's health experts at a cutting-edge Women's Center. This role presents a unique chance to develop a high-demand service line focused on menopause and uterine health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing perimenopause, menopause, post-menopausal issues, and uterine health.
- Engage in a collaborative care model with Gynecology, Primary Care, and Pelvic Floor Specialists.
- Contribute to the establishment of a premier menopause and uterine health program in a desirable South Florida location.
- Utilize advanced minimally invasive surgical technologies.
- Work with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Certification from the Menopause Society is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in menopause management is preferred.
- Familiarity with both hormonal and non-hormonal therapies.
- Strong interest or expertise in uterine conditions such as fibroids and abnormal bleeding is preferred.
- Training and experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
