Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Essential Qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy License in New York State
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, recent graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs
- Select activities that promote residents' ability to perform daily tasks independently
- Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy through detailed reporting
- Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately
- Foster a collaborative environment among the healthcare team
