Job Description
The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Denton State Supported Living Center performs advanced vocational nursing work. Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues. We have 8 units with various degrees of care required. Some units may have 20 patients for the nurse to pass meds to, but some may only have 6. Since our agency nurses are the first ones pulled to wherever the biggest need is, they will be more likely to have a change in that number often.
