Opportunity Details
  • Position Type: Full-time, 1.0 FTE
  • Schedule: Flexible; options for 8, 9, or 10-hour shifts
  • Location: 245 Cherry Street Suite 300, Grand Rapids
  • Specialty: Interventional PMR
  • Hospital Information: Our organization includes both the Medical Group and the Grand Rapids Hospital
  • Team Size: Regional program with 3 physicians and 1 APP in Grand Rapids; 2 physicians in MSK; Neuroscience Division in WMI featuring over 80 providers
  • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - for Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Additional Information:
    • Availability of PMR Clinic and interventional procedures
    • Optional EMG
    • Advanced procedures including BVN, spinal cord stimulator trials, and placements

Requirements
  • Open to recent graduates
  • Must be board certified in the relevant clinical specialty or achieve certification within the timeframe set by the specialty board.
  • Fellowship in Interventional Spine or Pain preferred
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain one)
  • DEA license required
Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivering direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
  • Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health initiatives
