Exciting Opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon

Our organization is thrilled to announce a full-time position for a Vascular Surgeon to become part of our esteemed team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

We are in search of a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible physician specializing in Vascular Surgery to join our dedicated single specialty practice. The Vascular Surgery team makes use of our advanced Inpatient Hybrid room and Interventional Suites for the majority of procedures.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in educating our General Surgery Residents and will be appointed as volunteer faculty at a prominent university.

Key Responsibilities

Our practice offers a comprehensive range of vascular treatment and surgical services, including:

  • Management of arterial aneurysms, including those affecting the thoracic and abdominal aorta, as well as peripheral vessels.
  • Treatment of carotid artery disease to prevent strokes.
  • Addressing Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), which can cause exercise-related leg pain (claudication) or limb-threatening ischemia.
  • Management of mesenteric and visceral vascular diseases.
  • Providing hemodialysis access for patients with kidney failure.
  • Treatment of venous disorders, including varicose veins.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited vascular surgery residency or fellowship, along with ABS certification in vascular surgery.
  • Board certification through the American Board of Surgery, with a certification of special qualification (CSQ) in vascular surgery, or the ability to obtain this certification within three years of employment.
  • A current Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
