Location: Onsite – Two commercial office buildings (247,000 sq. ft. combined)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

START: August 3rd



Must-Haves:

  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience
  • Basic HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge
  • Ability to complete tenant service requests and work orders
  • Experience performing facility rounds and inspections
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work fully onsite

Plusses:

  • Commercial building maintenance experience
  • Experience working in office buildings or property management environments
  • Knowledge of air handling units (AHUs)
  • Building systems maintenance experience

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician for a leading commercial real estate client. This individual will support the day-to-day maintenance operations of two neighboring office buildings totaling approximately 247,000 square feet that function as a single property. The technician will perform routine building rounds, inspect air handling units, respond to HVAC-related service requests, and address tenant maintenance tickets throughout the day. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of maintenance experience looking to grow within commercial facilities management while receiving support and mentorship from an experienced Chief Engineer. The position offers a stable weekday schedule, ample parking, and an anticipated start date of August 3rd.

Day-to-Day:

  • Perform morning and afternoon building rounds
  • Inspect and monitor air handling units on each floor
  • Respond to HVAC-related issues and temperature calls
  • Complete tenant maintenance tickets as they arise
  • Support the day-to-day operations of two commercial office buildings that operate as a single campus
  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks
  • Escalate complex issues to the Chief Engineer when needed
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient building environment
