Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Physician with OB Experience

Our organization is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician with obstetrics experience to become part of our established outpatient practice located at 321 Gifford St., Syracuse, NY 13204. You will be welcomed into a collaborative and well-supported team that delivers care to patients across all age groups, including pediatrics, adults, and seniors, along with specialized women’s health services.

This clinic features both Family Medicine and Pediatrics on-site, creating a significant demand for OB expertise. This role is perfect for a primary care physician eager to provide obstetric care. Our practice environment prioritizes patient needs and is bolstered by strong system resources and comprehensive ancillary support.

Practice Overview

• Comprehensive care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions
• Preventive care services, including immunizations and cancer screenings
• Women’s health services, such as annual pelvic exams, pap smears, and obstetrics
• A supportive, team-oriented clinical atmosphere

Position Highlights

• Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends or holidays)
• One shift from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM approximately every 8 weeks, based on provider coverage
• Shared call rotation
• Physician-governed organization with a physician-led Joint Operating Committee

Qualifications

• New York State medical licensure and DEA certification
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Obstetrics experience is highly preferred
• Open to both seasoned physicians and recent graduates

Recruitment Package

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

• Base salary ranging from $225,000 to $242,000
• This salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation applicable to the position. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
• Starting Bonus: $50,000
• Retention bonuses of $25,000 for Year 1 and $25,000 for Year 2
• Resident compensation available at $2,500/month
