Our organization is thrilled to announce a full-time position for a Fellowship Trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgery physician. This role is part of our dynamic and expanding multispecialty group practice located in Fresno, California.
Position OverviewWe are in search of a collaborative and seasoned Cardiothoracic Surgeon who is passionate about both cardiac and general thoracic surgery. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in CABG, valve replacement/repair, and thoracic surgery, along with proficiency in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS). A minimum of 5 years of cardiothoracic experience is essential.
Work Schedule and Location- The work schedule primarily consists of weekdays.
- Call coverage is approximately 1:3, shared equitably among eligible cardiothoracic surgeons within the practice.
- The primary workplace is the Saint Agnes Medical Center campus in Fresno, California, with outreach to surrounding communities to foster relationships.
This physician-led multispecialty group is looking to add a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to its integrated CT Surgery team and program. Our program actively participates in the STS Registry and is committed to benchmarking performance as part of a robust quality and outcomes improvement initiative. Notable achievements include a high early extubation rate, a low transfusion rate, and numerous regional and national awards in cardiac surgery.
Qualifications- A valid State of California Physician License or the ability to obtain one before the start date.
- Eligibility for full credentialing as a member of the medical staff at our facility.
