Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient ED - Dyersville - $10,000 Starting Bonus

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team, working three 24-hour shifts per pay period. In this role, you will be responsible for managing up to 8 patients daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and stabilize patients in the Emergency Department.
• Diagnose and treat patients effectively.
• Determine appropriate disposition for ED patients.

About Our Facility

Our organization operates a Critical Access Hospital that provides a wide array of healthcare services. The facility includes:

• A 3-bed Emergency Department.
• A 20-bed medical-surgical unit to accommodate various inpatient needs.
Comprehensive outpatient services, including laboratory, radiology, rehabilitation, infusion, and ambulatory surgery.

We are situated in Dyersville, a charming city located in eastern Delaware County and western Dubuque County, with a population of around 4,360. Dyersville is famous for attractions such as the Field of Dreams movie site, the National Farm Toy Museum, and the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier.
