We are excited to announce that New England Neurological Associates (NENA) has partnered with Lowell General Hospital and our organization, and we are currently looking for an Epileptologist to become part of our dedicated team.

Department Overview- Integrated Healthcare: NENA consists of a collaborative team of 28 physicians and advanced practice clinicians, integrated within a health system that includes over 700 affiliated doctors and a clinical partnership with a prominent medical center.
- Subspecialties: Our subspecialists cover a range of areas including epileptology, stroke, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular conditions, and migraine management.
- Collaboration: NENA serves over 70,000 patients in the Merrimack Valley, and through our partnership, we aim to broaden healthcare access, including plans for a neuro-immunology program and the establishment of a Memory Care Center.
- Provide general neurology care to a culturally diverse patient population in the Greater Lowell and Southern New Hampshire areas.
- Welcome subspecialty interests, particularly in Epileptology and memory care.
- Focus on patient comfort, convenience, and enhancing quality of life, guided by our mission and strong customer service philosophy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care, supported by Nurse Practitioners and flexible scheduling that allows for documentation time during your workday.
This is a full-time position, typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call responsibilities are shared among the NENA team, generally at a ratio of 1:5 for Lowell General Hospital.
Qualifications- Must hold a medical degree (MD or DO) or an equivalent foreign qualification.
- Board certification in Rheumatology is required to be fully licensed and credentialed as an attending physician at Lowell General Hospital.
