Position Overview

This role offers a diverse range of cases, including:

  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • OB/GYN
  • Neurosurgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Trauma Care

While experience in Cardiac procedures is advantageous, it is not a requirement (additional compensation is available for cardiac expertise). Please note that this position does not involve complex pediatrics, burns, or transplant cases. This is a hospital-employed W-2 role.

Our physicians and CRNAs thrive in a collaborative environment characterized by mutual respect and a shared commitment to patient care. The supervision model maintains a maximum ratio of 4:1. This is a full-time position, with MDs expected to work 2,060 hours annually to uphold a 1.0 FTE status, and call responsibilities are distributed equally among staff.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program
  • Board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment
  • Valid Idaho medical license and privileges at our facility and affiliated hospitals as required; must possess a valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
