Job Opportunity: GI Hospitalist

We are currently in search of a GI Hospitalist with advanced therapeutic training and expertise to become a part of our expanding Gastroenterology department. Our compensation package can reach up to $750,000, which includes a base salary, call pay, a $150,000 bonus, $6,000 for continuing medical education (CME), paid malpractice insurance, and a 403B retirement plan.

  • Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
  • Support: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assistance
  • Service Type: Consult-only service
  • Facilities: Integrated endoscopy suite at our medical center
  • Case Types: Non-emergent advanced therapeutic cases available
  • In-House Services: Anesthesia, Interventional Radiology, Cytopathology, and Colorectal Surgery
  • Coverage: Two metro campuses
  • Collaboration: Strong partnership with the GI Clinic
  • Teaching Opportunities: Chance to educate Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students

About Our Medical Center

Our facility is a Level II Trauma center that has been dedicated to serving the community since 1893. We operate four non-profit Catholic medical centers and two specialty hospitals, totaling 875 beds. As part of a larger network, our parent organization has 420 care locations, including 18 owned hospitals and 25 affiliated medical centers, addressing the healthcare needs of Iowans statewide.
