We are excited to announce an opening for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist with a specialization in Cardiac Electrophysiology to join our dynamic team at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. Collaboration with fellow physicians and staff within our Cardiology service line is essential to provide the highest quality of patient care.

- Utilize a hybrid lab designed for structural heart procedures, supported by senior cardiologists and an interventional cardiology program.
- Participate in an active cardio-thoracic program with 24/7 coverage available for your procedures.
- Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a general cardiology call rotation of 1:6.
- Average outpatient clinic volume is between 18 to 20 patients per day.
- Experience excellent electrophysiology volume, joining a collegial group with a substantial patient base that refers exclusively to in-house electrophysiologists.
- Benefit from the support of nurse practitioners for both inpatient and outpatient care, along with additional nursing and medical assistant support at the clinic.
Our labs are equipped with advanced technology, including:
- Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system paired with a GE recording system, enabling connectivity for cryoballoon ablations.
- Permanent Pacemaker implants
- Pacemaker Lead extractions (preferred but not mandatory)
- Leadless Pacemaker implants
- ICD & CRT-D implants
- Ablations for Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, and VT Cryoablation
- Convergent procedures in partnership with cardiovascular surgeons
You may also have the opportunity to engage in the active Watchman left atrial appendage closure program in collaboration with our structural heart interventional cardiologist.
