Salary Range:

$529,127.00 - $1,210,367.00

Our organization is in search of a Hand Surgeon to deliver thorough assessments, both surgical and non-surgical treatments, along with follow-up care for individuals experiencing issues related to the hand, wrist, forearm, and peripheral upper extremity nerves. This position encompasses outpatient clinic responsibilities, inpatient consultative services, emergency on-call duties, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary group to ensure high-quality, patient-focused care.

Position Overview:
  • Evaluate and treat a wide range of hand and upper extremity conditions, including traumatic injuries, degenerative diseases, congenital defects, nerve disorders, and soft-tissue issues.
  • Conduct surgical procedures such as fracture fixation, tendon and nerve repairs, arthroplasty, reconstructive surgeries, microvascular techniques, and arthroscopy.
  • Offer non-surgical management options when suitable (including injections, splinting, therapy referrals, and conservative treatments).
  • Provide consultations for inpatients and evaluations in the emergency department concerning hand and upper extremity conditions.
  • Engage in a shared call rotation for hand and upper extremity emergencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, primary care providers, occupational/hand therapists, radiologists, and hospital personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Completion of a Hand Surgery Fellowship.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery.
  • Active medical license in the state (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery (or eligibility to acquire).
  • Current DEA and CDS registration.
