Job Description
Our organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group with over 650 providers, offering a remarkable opportunity for a physician to become part of a well-established Sleep Medicine practice. This team consists of six physicians, six advanced practice providers (APPs), and one psychologist, serving both adult and pediatric patients across Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell in Idaho, as well as locations in Ontario and Baker City, Oregon. There are also outreach opportunities available.
As the demand for sleep services continues to rise in our communities, we are enhancing our regional approach within the health system. Our Sleep Medicine physicians play a crucial role in interpreting sleep studies conducted at our hospital-based sleep labs located at the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise and the Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa. Additionally, studies from our facility at the Saint Alphonsus Meridian Health Plaza in Meridian, ID, are included, along with collaborative opportunities with our sleep labs in Ontario and Baker City, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret sleep studies from various hospital-based labs.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with sleep disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Engage in outreach initiatives to expand sleep service availability.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of a Sleep Medicine fellowship and current board certification or eligibility.
- Experience in practicing the full spectrum of sleep medicine.
- Ability to obtain medical licensure in Idaho and Oregon, along with privileges at SARMC-Boise, SAMC-Nampa, SAMC-Ontario, and SAMC-Baker City as required.
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
