Our organization is currently looking for Part-Time/PRN Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalists to enhance our esteemed team of medical professionals.

Located at a community and teaching hospital with 300 beds, our facility offers a supportive environment for healthcare providers.

Position Overview

The OB Hospitalist, whether working full-time or part-time, will focus solely on managing patients in labor and supervising both routine and complex deliveries. Key details include:

  • Shift Length: 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) in-house.
  • Full-Time Schedule: 13 shifts per month.
  • Part-Time and PRN Options: Flexible scheduling available.
  • No On-Call Duties: Enjoy a work-life balance.

Our facility handles between 70-90 deliveries monthly and is equipped with:

  • Eight labor rooms
  • Four antepartum rooms
  • 15-20 postpartum rooms
  • An in-house lab and ultrasound services
  • 24-hour dedicated OB anesthesia
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine available 5 out of 7 days a week

Laborists are not required to cover Gyn ED calls.

As an OB/GYN Hospitalist, you will:

Our OB/GYN program is robust, averaging 1,200 deliveries annually, supported by a comprehensive team that includes midwives, OB/GYNs, MFM specialists, and Level II NICU services.
