We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Family Medicine Physician to become a part of our Primary Care - Hart team. This role presents an exciting chance to significantly influence the health of our community while thriving in a supportive, mission-oriented setting.

Opportunity Details
  • Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Office Hours: Monday from 7:30 AM to 6 PM; Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM
  • Location: 611 E Main St, Hart, MI 49420
  • Specialty: Family Medicine Physician
  • Team Size: 2 providers, 3 APPs, 2 LMSWs, 1 Pharm D, 1 Care Manager, and 21 support staff
  • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
  • Call Requirements: Call is shared among the Whitehall, Shelby, Hart, and Ludington offices, with physicians rotating on-call weeks throughout the year (approximately 8 times a year, depending on the number of providers in the call pool).

Requirements
  • Open to recent graduates
  • Board certified in the relevant clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe set by the applicable specialty board.
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain one)
  • DEA license
Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivering direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
  • Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health initiatives
