Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Physician

Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Family Medicine physician to become a part of our Cohoes Family Care practice, situated in Cohoes, New York.

This is a fantastic chance to integrate into an established outpatient facility that is experiencing high patient demand, supported by a hospital affiliation. Cohoes Family Care provides a comprehensive array of healthcare services for families, which includes:

• Routine pediatric examinations (well-baby and well-child checkups, school, camp, and sports physicals)
• Adolescent medicine
• General adult and geriatric healthcare (including annual physicals for health maintenance, work, school, or insurance)
• Management of illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions
• Preventive immunizations and precautionary inoculations
• Cancer screening and promotion of a healthy lifestyle

The call rotation for this position is 1:4 weeks, and it is phone-only.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Board Certification and a valid NYS license along with DEA registration are mandatory
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, though not essential

Compensation and Benefits Package

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Competitive salary with incentives: Base salary ranging from $250K to $260K
• The stated salary reflects the initial total compensation range and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
• Bonus structure: Up to $75K
• Retention bonus: $25K in the second year
• Resident compensation: Up to $50K per year for early sign-on
