We are excited to present a full-time position for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncology physician to join a well-established practice in Boise, Idaho. This opportunity is part of a physician-led multi-specialty group comprising over 650 providers.
About the PracticeOur organization is seeking a dedicated gynecologic oncologist who values a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. The practice includes two physicians and one physician assistant, and is integrated within a dynamic Women's Health Services Program and Women's Specialty Center.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to women's health issues.
- Utilize a robust surgical background, including training and experience in both traditional open and minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy and robotic surgery).
- Support outreach initiatives to enhance Women's Health Specialty Services across the region.
This role is based at the SARMC - Boise campus and includes access to:
- Two da Vinci XI robotic systems.
- Reconstructive surgery and comprehensive cancer care services.
- Clinical trials, genetic counseling, and cancer risk assessments.
- RN Navigation to assist patients throughout their treatment journey.
The work schedule is a traditional clinic week, running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility available in coordination with partners and operating room schedules. Call duties are shared equally among eligible providers, with a 1:2 rotation and first call to an Advanced Practice Provider every third weekend, supported by a physician.
Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program.
- Completion of an ACOG accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship training program.
- Board certification and subspecialty certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), or the ability to obtain these certifications within three years of employment.
- Unrestricted medical license in Idaho and Oregon to practice across a multi-state network.
- Ability to secure privileges at SARMC - Boise, SAMC-Nampa, and other affiliated hospitals as necessary.
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho & Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
- Experience in conventional open surgical techniques and strong skills in minimally invasive approaches.
