Job Opportunity: Surgical Pathologist
Our organization is on the lookout for a skilled surgical pathologist to support our growing service areas within the Department of Pathology at our medical school.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic expertise in surgical pathology.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists managing around 35,000 surgical specimens each year.
- Engage in clinical and translational research, as well as multidisciplinary collaborations with researchers at the cancer center.
- Must possess an MD degree or its equivalent.
- Board-certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
- Eligibility for a medical license in Illinois is required.
- Strong diagnostic abilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
- A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team environment, contributing to a high-volume surgical pathology practice.
