Job Opportunity: Surgical Pathologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a skilled surgical pathologist to support our growing service areas within the Department of Pathology at our medical school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic expertise in surgical pathology.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists managing around 35,000 surgical specimens each year.
  • Engage in clinical and translational research, as well as multidisciplinary collaborations with researchers at the cancer center.
Qualifications
  • Must possess an MD degree or its equivalent.
  • Board-certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
  • Eligibility for a medical license in Illinois is required.
  • Strong diagnostic abilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.
