A Hematologist/Oncologist Is Needed for Locum Tenens Assistance in Iowa

Our organization offers a diverse range of locum assignments, varying from just a single day to several years. • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM; on-call one week and one weekend per month
• Patient Load: 16 to 20 patients daily
• Work Environment: 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
• Specialization: 70% oncology, 30% hematology; adult patients only
• Procedures Involved:
  • Administration of antineoplastics
  • Phlebotomy
  • IV IgG therapy
  • Iron therapy
  • Bone marrow biopsies (required)
• Responsibilities:
  • Consultations and follow-up care
  • Oversight of clinic antineoplastic treatments
