Job Description
Our organization is currently in search of a Full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist Position:
Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy License in New York State is essential.
Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, recent graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Main Responsibilities:
Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
Select activities that enable residents to perform daily tasks independently.
Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy by preparing comprehensive reports.
Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
Foster a collaborative environment among the healthcare team.
