We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and assist patients in overcoming injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. In this role, you will work in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, helping individuals of all ages—from infants to seniors—enhance their daily living skills. Your responsibilities will include providing care across various inpatient floors, addressing a range of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts is mandatory to begin the assignment.
• Current CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider) is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting is essential.
• Preferred candidates will have over 2 years of experience in acute care.
• Familiarity with hospital workflows, patient handling, and transfer techniques is necessary.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including nursing staff, physicians, and case managers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an ICU setting is preferred.
• Background working with diverse patient populations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Productivity goal: Approximately 5.2 billable hours in an 8-hour workday; typically, you will see 6–7 patients daily with a patient list ranging from 8 to 15.
• Therapists will provide coverage across the inpatient floors of the hospital.
• Department attire consists of dark gray scrubs.
