Our organization is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Hematology/Medical Oncologist to become part of our exceptional team in Rockford, Illinois.
Position Overview:
- Join us at the newly established Cancer Institute, set to open in May 2025, located on the grounds of Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside in Rockford, IL.
- Develop your own oncology practice as a member of our employed physician team, supported by operational leaders and a comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer team.
- Benefit from an excellent referral network from both primary care and specialty providers.
- Utilize EPIC EMR with the BEACON oncology module for streamlined patient management.
- Access a wide range of multi-specialty referral sources.
- Work within a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
- Be part of the Mercyhealth System Cancer Services.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
- Graduation from an ACGME-accredited residency program in a relevant specialty.
- MD/DO board certified or board eligible.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Attractive compensation package ranging from $575,000 to $750,000.
